Christian leadership is when you lead your community through the values that the Bible teaches us. Given the four virtues of prudence, temperance, fortitude, and justice, an effective Christian leader can show the significance of these values in his or her attempt to organize his or her community.
Prudence
Christian leadership puts prudence as the main virtue because it symbolizes the wisdom in guiding the leader’s community. Prudence entails strategic thinking that puts the concern of the people above the leader’s own.
Temperance
Controlling the situation and the leader’s emotions are important in Christian leadership. God taught us to value other people as brothers and sisters, so elements of hate and negativity should not mingle in the community’s affairs. An effective Christian leader makes sure that all forms of hostility are dealt with properly.
Fortitude
An effective Christian leader must possess the strength and confidence in leading his or people. Without fortitude, the leader won’t be able to be the role model that the people look for. He or she must develop this factor as it shapes his or her effectiveness as a leader.
Justice
Everyone deserves fair treatment. An effective Christian leader ensures that justice is dealt properly in the community, to minimize misinterpretations and chaos. This justice will secure the community the right and proper way of handling issues, which effectively restores harmony.
Christian leadership centers on these four virtues. They should be practiced in order to smoothly run a community. Through these virtues, God is at the center, guiding the leader in his or her task.
